The way from the station to the inn is uphill, so it's probably not suitable for carrying a carry-on bag, but it's recommended for backpackers. The inn itself has an old-style Japanese-style feel, which I quite like. The sound of the floor is a bit annoying, but it's not noisy. The bath is very comfortable, and it's rare to find a place with a hot spring at this price.

On the day, there was no manager at the front desk, so we had to do everything ourselves from check-in to check-out. (We called the manager to get an explanation.)
The location is on top of a mountain, so there is no problem if you have a car, and the cypress bath and rooms are kept clean, so it's very good value for money.
